According to the Coventry Telegraphy our base in Earlsdon is "one of the most significant indicators of gentrification measured in Earlsdon has been changes to house prices in the last 10 years. Between 2007/08 and 2017/18, average house prices in the area soared by 35%, from £220,950 to £298,000 for a typical property. Not only is that one of the steepest increases in house prices seen anywhere in Earlsdon, it means the neighbourhood takes the number one spot in terms of the most expensive homes. Meanwhile, average earnings in Earlsdon have only increased very slightly, rising by 3% from £41,650 a year in 2011/12 to £42,700 in 2015/16 - the latest figures available.
